“Blue Door” style is classic, romantic, timeless and easy to wear for all ages and sizes. We will be the door you want to open for everything from comfy cozy outfits to special occasion pieces. I’m excited to bring you fashion-forward styles that are well made, unique and affordable. For me, it’s all about the longevity, washability and most importantly, the feel of the fabric. You can be assured every piece I choose meets high expectations. I do love sustainable fabrics and am always keeping a watchful eye out for them. Finding a brand that is not only “Made in the US” but also made with “Natural” fabrics is always an added bonus. That’s a win-win for sure!!

Born and raised here in beautiful Canandaigua, NY, my top priority is to promote and support the area I am fortunate enough to call home. I’m thrilled to be a part of downtown and look forward to what the future holds.

Working as a manager for a local boutique for the past several years, I developed a true passion for small business retail and the importance of shopping local and small.   I appreciate the opportunity to show creativity through fashion and then share it with other women. I learned so much in a few short years and will be forever grateful for that knowledge and experience. That door may have closed, but another one opened wide when that passion suddenly turned into a desire to pursue a boutique of my own.  It is my love for Canandaigua lake, a bright sunny sky, and the Caribbean Sea that helped me determine what color that open door would come to be. 

After raising three boys, my inner “Girly Girl” has re-surfaced and “Blue Door Boutique” is quickly becoming the daughter I never had. 

The experience you have when you walk through that “Blue Door” will be like no other. As cliché as it sounds, I have always been inspired by and lived by a quote from Maya Angelou. “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”. I will continue to live by this mantra daily at “Blue Door Boutique”.
